Server PING succeeds, but IPSentry PING poll fails

Here's one I haven't run into before. We have a poll running to ICMP PING 172.20.1.1 which is a remote router on a different subnet from our main network (192.168.x.x).

If I open a command prompt on the server running IPSentry, I can PING 172.20.1.1 successfully.
But the IPSentry Network ICMP PING comes back failed with the result "Timeout"

Any thoughts?

Note: it had worked in the past, but stopped some time ago.
I tried creating a whole new poll to PING 172.20.1.1, but it also fails (I thought there might be corruption in the settings or something).

What is the response time when pinging in command prompter?
What is your timeout setting in the ipSentry ping configuration?
Finally, if the timeout (in milliseconds) configured in ipSentry is sufficient, you may need to enable "Use ICMP.DLL" feature.

If that does not produce a result, please post a snapshot of the configuration so I can verify the settings.
Thank you.

The response time from a command line PING is about 30-50ms, which is about what you'd expect from 1 hop over a cable modem.
The timeout setting was set at 30ms.

I changed the timeout value to 250, and WHAM! Working. Quite the oversight on my part. Since it was working for months, there must have been some kind of latenency introduction. Well, consider it fixed! Thanks for the help!

Thank you for your follow-up.  I am happy to see it is functioning correctly.
