reading SNMP Values

We are useing the SNMP Module to Read and compare Values for Alerting. Works fine for UP and DOWN.
Is there any way (keyword) to include the value read in a SMS Message ?

thanks

Enable "Return Full Results" in the addin
    See: http://www.ipsentry.com/htmlhelp70/IPSENTRY/addins/snmpmon.index.htm#host_ReturnFull

You can then use the %%mach.resultinfo%% keyword in the email alert.
Note the result returned is not just a value since the add-in can monitor multiple objects and filters.  It will contain the filter details, thresholds, and read value or failure cause.

    Full Result ist enabled
on first OID we "must be within range" (200-410)  and %%mach.resultinfo%% is the OID  (1.3.6.1.4.1.28634.16.2.8195)
on the second OID, we use "must be equal to" 0, we get %%mach.resultinfo%% as "No Result Info"

Are you seeing "No Result Info" on a "LIVE" result or just when you hit "TEST" on the email configuration settings?
Note that when you hit test on the email configuration, there are no results to actually send.
The %%mach.resultinfo%% is only populated with the result of the test generating the alert.

The "LIVE resultinfo only contains the OID "(1.3.6.1.4.1.28634.16.2.8192.0)", not the value, the alert was based upon

    Please verify below the oid.
Our results for a failed test (in this case, just a failed attempt) show:

    ** FAIL: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5: (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5)
[Current: ] Timed Out - No Response

If a value is retrieved, it will show the Current value and comparison that triggered it.
Below, we are looking at a string OID that is not supposed to be equal to "blah" - and it is not.

    OK: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5: (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5)
[Current: Libs] Value is not equal to [blah]

Please ensure that on host settings you do have "Return Full Results" checked.

The OID is correct, it's actually the Voltage of a Generator.
If I do "get Value" or look at the "Current Value" in the Filter config, it shows the correct number.
Just the %%mach.resultinfo%% in the SMS generated shows the OID only. I am looking to get the current Value in the SMS

Is it just in SMS (Short Message) or in email?   SMS may truncate depending on settings.

Re: reading SNMP Values 2020/02/19 01:59:33 (permalink)
    Allright, we are getting closer.
    in EMail, %%mach.resultinfo%% returns:
    : (1.3.6.1.4.1.28634.16.2.8195)
[Current: 237,00] Is not between [220] and [230]

on SNMP-Walk and in the Filter, the Value is 238, so useing %%mach.trimres_l38%% returns:
    237,00] Is not between [220] and [230]

With SMS, the %%mach.resultinfo%% seems to get truncated after 8195), maybe a <CR> ?
    Length is set to 160.
Anyhow, is there a way to just put the read Value (237) in the Message?
