Run-Time error '-2147024891 (80070005)': Access is denied

Hello all, I've tried to search the posts for something similar but unable.
IPsentry is running as a service on a local admin account. Everything appears to run fine. However when you open IPsentry and go to edit devices you get the following MSG. This happens no matter who you log into the PC which, domain admin or anything.
Run-Time error '-2147024891 (80070005)': Access is denied

Now if you pause ipsentry, it scrolls through generating stat report and give an error MSG in red
Error -2147024891: Access is denied.
: During Checking Time

I figured maybe something happened to file permissions or HD space? But the drive which the logs point to in system options has 70gb free. I reset permissions and even gave the local user account who the service runs as full rights but still now go. Thoughts? No one can edit devices! Help!

Make sure that Read, Write, Modify rights exist for the user in all folders below the IPSentry application folder.

One area that cause significant problems has been virus checkers locking the log files.
These end with .BUF and .LOG and their location is normally the "LogFiles" folder.  However, this can be changed by the user so be sure that the directory of the log files also has the same access rights.  Also, make sure that *.LOG and *.BUF are excluded from being scanned as they are updated frequently.

Similarly, the IPSDataRoot folder contains rewritable data confguration files and must have rights to create, delete, modify, etc...

Okay so just to be sure I've given the user who the service is running as full access to the Program files\RGE INC\ folder which has IPSentry in it.
I also gave full access to the Logs folder specified in the system options. Disabled antivirus and still the same thing.
I went into system options and even tried changing the statistics output path to a new folder I created. When I hit "Output now" I get access is denied and it closes the app.

    Any other thoughts?

In the main console if you perform  "Action, Check Now", what is displayed in the console window prior to the error occuring?

This is looking like a DCOM configuration issue - I'm hoping it is less complex than that becuase DCOM configuration can really make a nightmare out of appliation security.

It doesn't seem to error while running.. If I start IP sentry is will go through. But If I pause it you get the MSG's repeatedly.
Even if I try to disable stat reports I still can't edit devices.

On a side note this used to work last week. But when I noticed we didn't get any pages for a day or two I found it wasn't running.
Something had to of changed but I don't know what. I'd like to just reboot the server it's on however It's a production machine with other services so I can reboot easily (on purpose... heh)

Okay I was able to schedule some time. I completely uninstalled, rebooted, and then reinstalled ipsentry v5.0.30. Even prior to reloading the config I went to edit devices. SAME msg. Access is denied.
I reloaded config so it would continue to monitor however I'm still unable to edit anything. HelP!!! I'm not even sure alerts are going out if a client fails.

Thoughts? Please? Any other directorys which need access? Reg settings?
