Only run monitor after dependency fails

I created a monitor [TST - Services] to check if NT services ar running. When one or more services are not running it gets the critical state. I created another monitor which depends on the first, but only needs to run when the first is critical.
Therefore I set the option "required state" to "Critical" on the second monitor, but no luck. When running it still says "Skipped due to dependent [TST - Services] state.". Could someone point me to the right direction?

    So, it says Skipped due to dependent state whether it is critical or not during a live cycle?

    Also, what version of IPSentry are you running?

    I'm using v6.0.3 (running on a Hyper-V VM with W2K8R2).

    See this test example from the activity console:

    19-2-2015@10:31> NTSRV: (WEB01 - Services) -> Failed*
    19-2-2015@10:31> NTSRV: (WEB01 - Services: Start BITS)
    19-2-2015@10:31>Skipped due to dependent [WEB01 - Services] state.

    - (WEB01 - Services)
    . |_ (WEB01 - Services: Start BITS)

    The "WEB01 - Services: Start BITS" monitor need to run only when the "WEB01 - Services" monitor fails (in critical state). How can I do that? Is it possible?
