IPSentry 6.0.2 Slow to Check Services on Some Servers

Most of our monitoring test fly by with almost immediate response.  However, our NTSRV monitors are slow on several of our Windows servers.  Some servers log in and test service status very quickly, however others can take up to 10 seconds or more.  We're monitoring quite a few devices so a delay of 10-15 seconds adds minutes to our monitoring cycle.  This appears to be both Windows 2008R2 and Windows 2012 servers.

Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance!!

This is unfortunately a byproduct of authentication process.

Running a test and then another test immediately following the previous will result in a different result.
Similarly, if using Services.MSC - if the remote host not logged into in a while is selected, the same delay will occur but because it happens during authentication it is not perceived as such.

We see the same servers delaying each cycle, up to 15-20 seconds for some servers.  Other servers in a similar state log in after a matter of a second or two.  I cannot understand why two very similar servers take drastically different amounts of time to log in.  Both would have the same level of OS, same software, same time since last log-in.  If the remote host being logged into frequently makes a difference, why wouldn't the monitoring cycle be quicker the second time through?

Are there any roles or features we should be sure to have installed on the remote hosts for accelerating monitoring??

This may be a different scenario.

If you load the entry in IPSentry and perform a TEST and within a few seconds perform another TEST, does the delay occur on the second test?
